Palo Alto voters rejecting medical marijuana dispensaries

PALO ALTO, Calif. —

It appeared late Tuesday night that Palo Alto voters were rejecting a ballot measure that would have allowed three medical marijuana dispensaries to open in the city.

Measure C requires a majority vote to pass, but as of midnight, 63 percent of voters had said no to the measure, with 10 of 39 precincts reporting.
