SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. —
California Highway Patrol officers reopened southbound state Highway 35 near Woodside at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday following a one-hour closure to investigate a collision that killed a bicyclist.
CHP Officer Ron Simmons said today that the collision occurred at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Skyline Drive at Elk Tree Road in Sky Londa. There a no details on the specifics of the crash.
The San Mateo County coroner was called to the scene just before 2 p.m.
A Sig-alert was issued at 2:17 p.m. All lanes have since been re-opened and the roadway is clear, Simmons said.
