LIVERMORE, Calif. —

A Sig-alert issued Friday afternoon on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore for a collision involving a big-rig has been canceled, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The collision, involving the truck and as many as two other vehicles, was reported at 2:07 p.m. near Greenville Road. The alert was issued at 2:22 p.m. It was canceled at 3:44 p.m., according to CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett.

The big-rig blocked the far left lane for more than an hour and a half. A second lane was also briefly shut down after the truck slid off the side of the highway, Bartlett said.

Only minor injuries were reported in the crash.
