SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. —
Caltrans announced Sunday that it planned to conduct inspections that upcoming week on Rio Vista Bridge between Solano and Sacramento counties, officials said.
Traffic on state Highway 12 and Rio Vista Bridge, which spans the Sacramento River, will be reduced to one-way traffic starting on Tuesday between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., according to Caltrans.
Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
Weather permitting, work was scheduled to continue during the same hours on Wednesday finish on Thursday afternoon, according to Caltrans.
The inspections were not expected to disrupt boat and ship traffic on the Sacramento River.
