An autopsy will be performed to determine what caused the death of a 3-month-old boy at a San Jose day care center on Monday, but there is no indication a crime was committed, authorities said Tuesday.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office has identified the boy as Connor Jung, of San Jose.
Emergency responders were dispatched at 1:52 p.m. Monday to the Discovery Years day care center at 1411 Piedmont Road, east of Interstate Highway 680, San Jose police spokeswoman Sgt. Heather Randol said.
The investigation into Connor's death, being conducted by the medical examiner's office, has so far found no evidence of foul play, Randol said.
Watchdogs are questioning an exclusive agreement between the City of Oakland and a non-profit group, tapped to lead a multi-million dollar project to redevelop the area around the Coliseum BART station.
