Fairfield firefighters are at the scene of a 3-alarm fire at a condominium complex at 229 Del Luz Court near Air Base Parkway and Dover Avenue, Fairfield Battalion Chief Tony Velasquez said.

Velasquez said the fire in a four-plex building in the Parkway Gardens complex was reported at 3:50 p.m.

The fire caused smoke damage to two units, fire damage in the unit of origin and slight damage in fourth unit.

There were no injuries to the occupants of the four-plex or to firefighters, but a resident of an adjacent apartment complex suffered smoke inhalation, Velasquez said.

Firefighters are still making sure the blaze is out in the insulation of the building's attic, Velasquez said.

Firefighters from the Suisun Fire Protection District, Suisun City Fire Department, Vacaville Fire Protection District, Vacaville Fire Department, Travis Air Force Base Fire Department, Cordelia and Vallejo fire departments responded.
