VALLEJO, Calif. —

The California Highway Patrol was forced to close a highway connector in Vallejo Tuesday night after a crash involving a semi-truck and a pick-up.

Officers were called to Highway 37 just west of Fairground Drive at around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday evening.

They found a large Fed Ex truck hanging off the side of the road. A red truck was on the side of the road facing the wrong direction.

Officers temporarily closed the Highway 29 connector to Highway 37 while they worked to move the vehicles, but the road was reopened by 11 p.m.

There was no word if anyone was hurt in the accident.
