Head-on collision in Solano County reportedly leaves four dead

RIO VISTA, Calif. —

A head on collision in Solano County Monday night has reportedly claimed the lives of at least four people.

According to the Solano County Fire Department, the accident happened near the Mokelumne River Bridge on Highway 12 east of Rio Vista.

First reports of the accident came into the California Highway Patrol at around 9:15 p.m. Highway 12 remained closed in the area in both directions.
