ANTIOCH, Calif. —

A pregnant woman was taken to a hospital after her car was struck in a hit-and-run crash on state Highway 4 in Antioch Wednesday morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash was reported around 10:15 a.m. on westbound Highway 4 near the A Street off-ramp in Antioch.

The pregnant woman did not appear to be injured but was transported to a hospital as a precaution, Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

The crash, which temporarily blocked one lane of traffic, was under investigation by the CHP.
