SAN RAFAEL, Calif. —
Police in San Rafael were investigating what appeared to be a fatal fall inside a parking structure Saturday morning.
Authorities said they received a call at 7:30 a.m. reporting that the body of a male victim had been found at the top level of a parking garage located at the intersection of 3rd and C Street.
Officers arrived and cordoned off the garage shortly afterwards. Authorities said that the man appeared to have died from a fall inside the garage.
The man's death appears to be accidental and there is no criminal investigation, according to police.
The garage was shut down during the investigation, but police said it was reopened at around 10 a.m.
