SAN JOSE, Calif. —

A flight bound for Seattle from Los Angeles made an unexpected stop at Mineta San Jose International Airport Wednesday morning after the cabin lost pressure, an airport spokeswoman said.

Just before 8 a.m., an Alaska Airlines flight that had taken off from LA/Ontario International Airport in Southern California landed safely in San Jose, spokeswoman Vicki Day said.

The aircraft had electrical issues, and passengers' ears may have popped because of the change in cabin pressure, Day said.

Although some people may have felt somewhat uncomfortable, no one needed medical assistance once the flight had landed, she said.

Upon their arrival in San Jose, the passengers were rebooked on other flights.
