SAN FRANCISCO —
Crews worked into the early morning hours Saturday repairing a water main break in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood that flooded several homes and left a gaping hole in the road.
The break on Brussels Street, between Ordway and Ward streets was first reported at about 9:50 p.m. Friday night.
When crews arrived on scene, water could be seen flowing down the street and into the driveways of nearby homes.
On Saturday morning, people were cleaning up after water made it inside several residences in the neighborhood.
The extent of the damage was unknown Saturday later morning and as of 8 a.m. it was still unclear if water service has been affected in the area.
