Woman who fell to death from SJ condo building identified

SAN JOSE, Calif. —

A woman who fell to her death from a high-rise condominium in downtown San Jose Friday morning has been identified as Tamara Jennifer Toth, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.

Toth, 24, of San Jose, reportedly fell off the balcony of a residence on the 11th floor of the City Heights condominium complex at 175 W. St. James St. at North San Pedro Street, San Jose police said.

Police responded at 2:51 a.m. to a report of a woman falling off of a building, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

A preliminary investigation revealed no evidence of foul play in her death, Dwyer said.
