SAN FRANCISCO —

A United Airlines flight from Vancouver has landed safely in San Francisco International Airport after declaring an emergency due to a mechanical problem.

He says the pilot had declared an emergency due to a hydraulic issue.

Airline spokeswoman Christen David said the flight was carrying 102 passengers and five crew members.
