REDWOOD CITY, Calif. —
The first victim had stopped his Maserati at a red light near Woodside Road and Middlefield Road at about 7:30 a.m. when Christopher Bose, 37, allegedly pulled up next to the Maserati in his own vehicle and demanded the victim get out of the car, police said.
The victim ignored Bose's demand and drove away, but Bose followed him in his vehicle and deliberately collided with the Maserati, according to police.
Bose lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole. The Maserati drove away, according to police.
Bose then ran into the intersection of Bay Road and Charter Street, where he knocked down a motorcyclist who was sitting at the stoplight.
The motorcyclist fought back, and two police detectives witnessed the altercation.
The officers caught Bose and took him into custody.
He was booked for two counts of attempted carjacking and hit and run, according to police.
