Man arrested for allegedly masturbating at gas station

A man was arrested for allegedly masturbating at a gas station in unincorporated Dixon on Thursday afternoon, Solano County sheriff's officials said Friday.

Sheriff's deputies responded at about 1:25 p.m. to a report of lewd conduct occurring in a gas station parking lot in the 6800 block of Sievers Road.

The deputies arrived to find Michael Wiles, 36, sitting in a car that was identified by the reporting party as the suspect vehicle.

After the deputies noticed that there was a laptop computer in the vehicle, Wiles allegedly admitted to masturbating while watching an adult film on the computer, according to the sheriff's office.

The witness who reported the incident also said he witnessed Wiles masturbating. The witness said another vehicle drove onto the gas station property and parked, and children exited the vehicle and were being watched by Wiles while he was masturbating, sheriff's officials said.

Wiles, a West Sacramento resident, was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of lewd conduct in a public place.

Deputies also confiscated the laptop, an Amazon Kindle e-reader, an external hard drive and a rewritable DVD, according to the sheriff's office.
