VACAVILLE, Calif. —

Have aliens landed in Northern California again? Not likely.

New Crop Circles Found In Vacaville But one week after mysterious crop circles showed up in a wheat field near Fairfield, another group of geometric designs have appeared in a cornfield near Vacaville.

It all started on Sunday when a local pilot -- Lou Tobin -- spotted the circles in the field at the corner of Alamo Drive and Leisure Town Road while flying back from a trip to Southern California.

What he was looking down at was a string of six circles, each decreasing in size and connected by a line. To make the design even more distinctive were two antenna-like protrusions out of the top of the largest circle.

According to the Vacaville Reporter, a ground inspection revealed that the corn stalks were not woven down or methodically compressed, but haphazardly knocked over. About 30 percent to 40 percent of the stalks appear to have popped back up.

Tobin told the paper he's seen at least 24 crop circles in his lifetime. As a U.S. Air Force pilot for 30 years, he often flew to England and would see crop circles there.

"In England, everything is just perfect -- symmetrical," he told the paper. "The (crop circles) I saw last night (Sunday night), if they were made by aliens, they were drunk aliens."
