Petaluma Man In Pickup Truck Follows Boys To School

Petaluma police issued an alert Monday after a man in a white pickup truck followed two boys who were on their way to Corona Creek Elementary School Monday morning.

Police said the man pulled alongside the boys, ages 8 and 11, as they walked on Quarry Street at about 8 a.m. and said, "I know who you are."

The boys continued walking for another minute and the man made no further comments and drove away down Riesling Road.

The man, estimated to be 55-60 years old, has short, gray hair and was wearing a black baseball cap and blue jacket, police said.

The truck has a company name in blue writing on the door, police said.
