Shooting investigation shuts down portion of Fruitvale Avenue in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. —

A stretch of Oakland's Fruitvale Avenue is shutdown Thursday morning as police investigate a shooting, police said.

Police said the shooting happened near the Fruitvale BART station just after 10:30 am.

Witnesses said a gunman fired from one car toward another car.

There was also a car crash related to the shootings. Witnesses on the scene said two cars have crashed, with one hitting a taco truck at the Guadalajara restaurant.

No one was injured. So far, police haven't made any arrests.
