Six Injured In Muni Bus-Van Crash

SAN FRANCISCO —

Several people were injured when a San Francisco Municipal Railway N-Judah light rail vehicle and a passenger transport van collided in the city's Inner Sunset neighborhood Thursday morning.

The crash was reported at about 9:10 a.m. at 14th Avenue and Judah Street, San Francisco police Officer Boaz Mariles said.

Six people in the van suffered minor injuries and were taken to various hospitals.

Muni service on the N-Judah line was briefly disrupted while the crash was investigated, but service has since resumed.

A dispatcher initially said eight people had been injured and the crash had involved a van and a bus, but Mariles clarified that the second vehicle was the N-Judah.
