KTVU.com

Bay area residents will be facing a number of travel challenges this holiday weekend with the complete shutdown of the Dumbarton Bridge for seismic retrofitting coupled with the beginning of a two-week shutdown affecting several major Muni lines in San Francisco and the closure of First Street between Mission and Howard streets for Transbay Terminal-related construction. The Golden Gate Bridge will also be closed between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. during the 75th anniversary fireworks show.

The below links will help you figure out how to negotiate the closures and service changes.
