SUMMARY: Assist Creative Services and Promotion departments by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fill out and coordinate daily logs.
Assist with merchandising, promotional events, planning and idea generation.
Copywriting and editing of topical promos, sales/promotions and special report promotions on non-linear editing system, under the direction of the Promotion Manager.
Maintenance of station website, tape libraries and music library.
General clerical duties such as phones, filing, data entry, faxing, etc.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute. Must have excellent written and verbal skills, be highly organized and a self-starter with ability to juggle many projects at once. Computer experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.
