Some people call them mental health days.
According to a new survey, more workers are calling in sick when they’re actually not.
According to Career Builder, in the past 12 months, 40 percent of workers have called in sick when they’re not. That’s up five percent. More than a third of the workers polled went to work sic, preferring to use sick days when they’re not sick.
The study also found: 38 percent of the employers checked up on a co-worker, 43 percent found out through social media and 26 percent fired the liars.
