YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KTVU) -- A rockslide shut down a major road into Yosemite National Park Thursday morning.

Officials say the rockslide happened at 5:45 a.m., forcing the closure of a section of El Portal Road (Highway 140).

There were no injuries associated with the incident.

Park rangers and road crews are on scene assessing the situation.

There is no estimated time on when the road will reopen.
