San Jose standoff with burglary suspect ends after 15 hours
SAN JOSE, Calif. - A 15-hour standoff overnight in San Jose ended Thursday morning after police took a burglary suspect into custody by shooting him with non-lethal rounds.
Matt Santos, 28, was arrested at 4 a.m. in the 400 block of Pocatello Drive, after police used a Bear Cat and tear gas to get him out. Officers also used nonlethal rounds and a police dog to get him out.
Santos was wanted on a felony burglary warrant.
