- CAMPBELL (KTVU)— Campbell police arrested a San Jose woman this morning after she  admitted to a porch package theft in Campbell and other similar thefts in the area. Law enforcement introduced a bait-package program earlier this week.

27-year-old Sara Lisa Loretz was arrested at her home at 9:30 a.m. and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jai according to police.

Police released a video of the November 18 theft that occurred around 4 p.m. In the video, a female suspect can be seen taking a package from the front porch of a Campbell residence. There was no information on the type of vehicle the suspect fled in.

After the video was released, tips came in that led detectives to Loretz. Police are asking other recent victims of package theft in the areas of Campbell, Willow Glen, West San Jose, Los Gatos area to check if they have surveillance video to see if the suspect in those thefts matches Loretz’ description.
