Investigators said 21-year-old Isaiah Bostic, killed his father, 54-year-old Dr. Bishop Teman L. Bostic, Sr. at an apartment complex Thursday morning.

The police department said it withheld the names for a day, to give the family some time to mourn their loss, and deal with what has happened.

At about 5:30 a.m. Thursday, nearby tenants called 911, to reoprt hearing a male voice coming out of the apartment, yelling, "Your dad is bleeding. I don't want to die."

When officers arrived at the apartment complex in the 900 block of Juana Avenue, they said the 21-year-old man, had blood on his hands and clothing, when he opened the door.

Officers then immediately went into the apartment to investigate, and found the father had been stabbed several times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both Bostics lived at that apartment.

Investigators will not discuss a possible motive in the stabbing.

Isaiah Bostic is being held without bail at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, and is expected to be arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court in Hayward on Wednesday.
