Police have released two sketches of a person who may be responsible for alleged lewd activity earlier this month in San Ramon, police said today.

The suspect is described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with dark hair, medium toned skin, light facial hair and buckteeth.

Police also described him as disheveled with a scar on his right cheek and he was said to speak English with a slight Indian accent.

The suspect's vehicle was described as an older, dark gray, 4-door sedan.

Police said they don't know what the make or model of the car was but it may have had out-of-state, possible Nevada, license plates.

Police were told by personnel with the San Ramon Unified School District on Oct. 12 that more than one student reported seeing lewd activity during the previous week.

Two middle school students were walking on Bollinger Canyon Road near Blossom Ridge Lane at about 4:30 p.m. Oct. 5 when a man allegedly drove up in a car and told a boy leave and the girl to come to his car.

Police said that when she walked toward the vehicle he asked her whether she had a girlfriend and he allegedly tried to grab her shirt.

The girl looked inside the vehicle and allegedly saw the man's genitals exposed and that he was touching them inappropriately.

Police said the girl immediately backed away from the car and ran away.

About a half hour later another female student reported seeing the same car near Bollinger Canyon and Main Branch roads near Gale Ranch Middle School.

Police said the man allegedly pulled alongside the student and asked her some random questions before asking what her name was.

She turned and ran away.

Police said the man was allegedly seen again Oct. 10 near Bollinger Canyon and Main Branch roads by the girl who first saw him. The suspect did not try to speak with or touch the victim.

Anyone with information that would help police identify the suspect is asked to call police at (925) 973-2779.
