Santa Clara Police searching for suspect in high-end sunglasses heist

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KTVU) - Santa Clara Police are asking for help in the search for a suspect responsible for stealing $10,000 worth of high-end sunglasses Thursday morning at Eye Boutique Optometry on El Camino Real.

Police are looking for any information that might lead to identifying a white or Hispanic male burglary suspect. Police say around 7 a.m., the man, wearing a black hoodie, loose-fitting blue jeans and sneakers shattered the exterior glass pane window.

A clear, color surveillance video with sound of the incident has been released where the suspect can be seen loading a blue tote bag full of glasses.
