SF Nob Hill resident arrested on child porn charges

San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) have arrested a suspect for possession and distribution of child pornography. On November 25th, San Francisco resident Zachary Singh, 29, was taken into custody by police in Southern California.

Singh, whose address is on the 1400 block of Hyde Street, was said to be in Santa Barbara for the holidays while police, in a joint investigation with Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC), served a search warrant at his residence the day before he was arrested. There, police found several media devices containing hundreds of videos and images depicting juvenile minors engaged in sexual acts. 

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department booked Singh for possession of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography and possession of more than 600 files of child pornography.

Singh is out on bail and has a pending court date in San Francisco.
