Rumplesnakeskin, the two-year-old ball python found on a South Bay bus, has a new home. Twelve-year-old Briana Haney from the Peninsula has adopted him.

The snake was found on a VTA bus traveling from San Jose to Palo Alto back on September 27. He was taken to the Peninsula Humane Society in Burlingame and put up for adoption after weeks went by with no one claiming him.

And when Haney got the news, she decided to adopt, as she loves reptiles. Rumplesnakeskin should fit in great, too. He’s joining three other snakes Briana has at home.
