Man fatally shot inside San Jose business, police search for suspects
SAN JOSE, Calif. - SAN JOSE (KTVU and wires) -- A man was found shot to death early Thursday inside a San Jose business, authorities said.
Officers responded at 12:55 a.m. to a building in the 1800 block of Lundy Avenue on a report of a person shot and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The man was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The San Jose Police Department's Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the shooting.
Investigators do not know the circumstances or the motive surrounding the shooting, police said.
The identity of the victim will not be released until the coroner's office confirms the man's identity, and his next of kin is notified, police said.
