The Final Touchdown...

High School Football
High School Football

On behalf of the entire station we want to thank you, the Bay Area community for all your support and continuous feedback throughout this High School Football season! Towards the final weeks of High School Football, each school and its community were very involved in the voting process and becuase of that support, we look ahead and forward to the 2013 season.

From school administrators, community leaders, mothers and fathers, as well as fellow students in all the schools - The 2012 High School Football Season has not disappointed. This year, voting on the KTVU.com Game of the Week ballot has reached record breaking numbers as competitive fans refuse to be outvoted by their neighboring school districts.

What is most compelling about the passionate voting efforts made by schools and their local community is that there is true comraderie, which is what High School Football is all about. It's coming together as a strong unit, as a team, and remembering that our High School Football athletes work hard to be the best.

In addition to be featured on-air with our KTVU-TV Sports team as the "Game of the Week", coaches and their athletes are highlighted during the season on our very own High School Football section.

With over 300 high schools participating this season, your vote, was very important.

Good luck to all the teams next year!
