Suisun City: Police arrest man who allegedly robbed victim at knifepoint

Police arrested an 18-year-old man who allegedly robbed another man at knifepoint Thursday evening in Suisun City.

Around 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of an incident involving a knife near Harrier Drive and Osprey Way, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a man who said a suspect held a knife to his throat demanding money and his cellphone. The suspect then fled toward Kimberly Court, police said.

The victim suffered lacerations to his right hand and neck.

As the victim was giving officers a description of the suspect, officers saw a man matching that description.

Officers then began searching the area with help from the Solano County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities discovered the suspect hiding in a bush on Bittem Way.

The suspect was identified as Dixon resident Demarco Rowe.

With the help of residents in the area, officers were able to recover the items taken from the victim, including his cellphone. Demarco was arrested on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats.

His bail was set at $115,000, according to police
