Suspects remain at large in separate stabbings of women in Oakland

OAKLAND (BCN) A woman suffered cuts to the back of her head when she was stabbed in East Oakland early this morning, according to police.

The woman was stabbed with a knife in the 8400 block of Edes Avenue, in the vicinity of the Radisson Hotel Oakland Airport, at about 3:40 a.m. today and was transported to a hospital, police said.

The suspect in the stabbing remains at large.

Another woman was stabbed in the area of 92nd Avenue and E. Street in East Oakland, near the Lily of the Valley Christian Center, at about 10 p.m. last Saturday, according to police.

The woman, who was stabbed with a metal stabbing instrument, suffered a stab wound to her arm and bruises to her body and arm and transported herself to a hospital, police said.

The suspect in that stabbing also remains at large.
