Two Oakland police officers en route to shooting injured after crash with white Mustang
OAKLAND, Calif. (Alex Savidge/KTVU) - Two Oakland police officers were injured early Monday morning when they collided with a white Mustang en route to a shooting, a police lieutenant said.
Lt. Rachel Von Sloten said the officers were taken to the hospital after the 3:45 a.m. crash at High Street and International Boulevard. They are in stable condition.
Sloten said the pair were called out to help with a traffic stop involving a suspect who was thought to be involved in a shooting. They were driving "Code 3" when they collided with the white Mustang, and another car. The driver of the white Mustang was also injured and taken to the hospital.
