Vacaville police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who pick-pocketed a woman sitting next to him in a restaurant sometime last week.

According to police, a woman dining at a restaurant placed her bag on a chair handle and, as she was speaking to a companion, didn't notice that one of the suspects placed his hand inside and took a wallet.

“I felt someone in my bag. You can see me reaching back in the video to feel my bag and then the guy pulls his hand out," wrote the police of the woman. "I should have moved my bag...and for some strange reason I didn’t. But I kept thinking something was off.”

Police said one of the suspects made an initial attempt to take the wallet but didn't grab it, with the victim touching her bag to make sure it was still there. On the second attempt, however, the suspect succeeded in taking the wallet.

Vacaville police have provided video of the incident on their Facebook page. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call police at (707) 469-5642.
