VIDEO: Sideshow in Oakland as police continue to crack down

There was a sideshow in Oakland early this morning- yet again.

In the recent weeks, police have added patrols, specifically for sideshows.

Dozens of people gathered on High Street, close to the Home Depot, to watch the show synonymous with Oakland Culture.

Police have kept an eye out on social media for when sideshows might happen and staff their patrols accordingly.

People living in North Oakland say sideshow activity is common in their neighborhood, and frequently hear dozens, sometimes hundreds, of cars doing tricks near their homes.

On November 12, about 200 cars gathered at Foothill and Macarthur Boulevard.
