Warriors extend record to 21

Curry scores 44 points in another Warriors victory

TORONTO, Canada (KTVU) -- The reigning NBA champs hit blackjack in Canada Saturday, as they extended the best start in league history, with win 21.

They beat the tough-minded Toronto Raptors on the road, 112 to 109.

Once again, league MVP Stephen Curry led the way. He scored 44 points and 7 assists.

Raptors' guard Kyle Lowery matched Curry, with 41 points. But it was not enough, as the Warriors hung on late for the win.

The Warriors wil now look to win their 22nd consecutive victory to open the season, by facing the Brooklyn Nets Sunday at the Barclays Center in New York.
