Woman arrested for deadly stabbing in Burlingame

A 36-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing a man on Saturday night, according to police.

Officers responded at about 9:40 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of Myrtle Road on a report of an unresponsive male and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity has not yet been released.

Mia Smith, a Burlingame resident, was also at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of murder, according to police.

Police said the suspect and victim knew each other. More information about what led to the stabbing was not immediately available.
