Woman killed early Sunday morning in Concord vehicle collision
CONCORD, Calif. (BCN) - Concord police report that an 18-year-old woman was killed early Sunday morning when her car veered off Kirker Pass Road and struck a signal pole.
Authorities responding to the 12:41 a.m. accident pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Police have not yet released her name pending notification of next of kin.
The accident led to the closure of the southbound lanes of Kirker Pass Road at Hess Road for more than three hours.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
