Phoenix Signs D Jones

Glendale, AZ -- (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes signed defenseman Matt Jones to a two-year contract on Thursday. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jones, 24, played 45 games last season with the Coyotes and had two assists.

In 106 career NHL games, all with Phoenix, Jones has a goal and 10 assists.
