Description: A landmark San Francisco restaurant where the chef gets above-the-title billing, Fleur De Lys has long been regarded as one of the most beautiful and romantic establishments in town. Chef Hubert Keller became partners with co-owner Maurice Rouas in 1986 and has kept the French dining spot's standards high ever since.

Drapped in 900 of custom printed fabric, the tented main room remains one of the most spectacular dining areas in the city. A fire closed the restaurant for ten months in 2001, but the renovations that the minor disaster brought about have only improved Fleur de Lys. Two private dining rooms (including one with a cozy fireplace) are available for well-heeled patrons. The food at the restaurant is as dazzling as ever; Keller usually takes a curtain call from satisfied diners at the end of the evening.
