Description: Malee has two full menus, one with Thai dishes, the other with Vietnamese. Don't be put off by the location on Lombard near Van Ness, attached to a motel. Inside, the place is pleasant -- the bar is like a family living room, the dining room is subtly refined. Malee Johnson's food is authentic and flavorful, and the staff is quite friendly. The prices are a couple bucks more than you'd expect but then the food is better than you'd expect also.
