Description: Italian-born Adriano Paganini is living the American dream. After opening Cafe Adriano on Fillmore in 1993, Paganini took over a small spot on Chestnut Street and began the wildly successful Pasta Pomodoro chain. The food is good, the value is better, and he even had enough moxie to take his concept to North Beach. Not the best pastas you'll have, but a long way from the worst.
