Ritz-Carlton Terrace Restaurant

ritz_carlton_sfDescription: The height of elegance (and price), the Terrace Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton serves unforgettable meals with service fit for a king. Expect fresh ingredients, classic cooking with Asian accents and innovative pairings. An excellent wine list rounds out one of San Francisco's most exquisite dining experiences.

For Mother's Day, the Ritz-Carleton is offering a couple of different options for those looking to spoil mom to the fullest on her special day. A buffet brunch will be held in the hotel's spectacular Grand Ballroom from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Reservations are pricey ($85 for adults, $42 for kids age 5-12; and that doesn't include alcohol, tax, tip or parking), but attendees will feast such delicacies as pancetta-wrapped monkfish tails, Dijon-crusted rack of lamb and seared ahi tuna salad. A jazz trio will provide musical entertainment during the brunch.

If you'd prefer to eat in the Terrace Restaurant, there are seatings between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. for several prix-fixe meals at different levels (three courses for $80, four for $90 and five courses for an even $100 per person). Chef Braddly Bennick presents indulgences like foie gras spiked halibut, confit of wild salmon and duet of veal for diners to enjoy.
