OAKLAND, Calif. - Warriors guard Stephen Curry is questionable to play Tuesday vs. Atlanta with a sprained left ankle.
Curry did not participate in Monday's practice and said this about his status vs. the Hawks, "If I'm good enough to play, like I said, not put myself in jeopardy of making this thing lag or nag me for two weeks, three weeks whatever, I'll play."
Curry rolled his ankle in Saturday nights win over the Thunder in Oklahoma City. Curry had 15 points at the time of his injury in the 3rd quarter. After limping to the lockeroom, Curry returned with about 5 minutes to go in in the quarter and went on to score 46 points, 3 of which came on the dramatic game winning shot in overtime from 38 feet out. The Warriors beat the Thunder 121-118 to improve to 53-5.
On Monday Curry was also named the Western Conference Player of the Week after averaging 44 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds in leading the Warriors to a 4-0 record for the week.
