Coastal fog

Coastal fog will remain dense and right along the coast the next few days.   There will be some afternoon clearing tomorrow but the fog should return late Wed night.  Warm and dry weather will continue thru the 5 day forecast.

Rain on the way!

Increasing clouds Tuesday will lead to rain by late evening.  The storm door opens for a couple of days so keep the umbrellas  handy.  Snow levels will be low producing up to a foot in the mtns.

Unsettled Weather this week

Two weak weather systems this week will bring clouds and cooler weather.  Light showers will show up on Thursday with breezy conditions and cool temperatures in the low 50s.

Rain on the way!

After almost two weeks of dry weather our pattern is changing bringing us a chance of some showers over the next 5 days. The increasing clouds will allow overnight lows to warm out of the 30s and into the 40s and 50s.

Temperatures the next few mornings are going to be very cold especially in the inland bay valleys.  Look  for numbers Wednesday a.m. in the 20s in the coldest spots with lots of mid and low 30s for the rest of us.  There will be plenty of frost the next few ...

Cool Showers

More Cool and relatively dry weather systems are lining up in the gulf of Alaska.  These weak storms will keep us in an active weather pattern for the next 7 to 10 days. 

Rain in the Forecast

Unsettled weather in the extended forecast this week.  With showers showing up late Thursday night in to Friday afternoon.  It looks like we wil see the storm door remain open into the Thanksgiving Holiday week.

Cooler Weather coming!

A major cool down by the end of the week with temperatures dropping as much as 30 degrees by Thursday and Friday.

Halloween

Bummer! Looks like tomorrow afternoon and evening will be wet in the north bay with scattered light showers south to about Hayward by 730pm. So sorry for all the little Trick or Treaters. Not a washout but wet.

Mild Patern This Week

This week will be on the mild side as far as temperatures are concerned.  Partly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the 60s and low 70s will be the norm.  There will be a slight chance of a sprinkle Tuesday and Wednesday.

Las Vegas got heavy rain on Tuesday causing some serious flash flooding.  Many streets under water and many cars floating.  Flash flooding is dangerous because the flooding is often many miles away from the source rainfall so many are caught off guard.

Double Rainbow

A fantastic double rainbow was visible in San Francisco early Wednesday evening.  The secondary rainbow is caused by a double reflection of sunlight inside the raindrops.
