Cooling Trend
We are currently in the grips of a cooling trend that will help reduce fire danger and clean out our atmosphere. Coastal fog will be noticed further inland nights and mornings through the weekend.
fire
High temperatures over the next couple of days will keep fire fighters busy in the fire zones of northern California. Conditions will improve for fire fighters as we hit the second half of the week with increasing humidities and lower temperatures.
Slightly Cooler
Our coastal fog will be a constant the next couple of days keeping temperatures coastside in the 50s. Look for some patchy drizzle as well with the bulk of the moisture right at the waters edge. If you have business at the coast take a jacket.
Giants vs Dodgers
Game 2 of the big series between The San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. The clouds should begin to lift by the 3rd or 4th inning.
Deep Marine Layer = Cool
The marine layer is hovering close to 2500 feet. The cooler air will continue to filter into the inland areas. Temperatures will begin to warm a little over the weekend. No major heat in our forecast.
Fog returns
Coastal fog will ramp up this week and begin to cool our temperatures. With a deeper fog bank look for fire danger to drop and air quality to improve.
Thursday Baseball Forecast
The Reds will be visiting the Giants Thursday evening. Fog could be moving in by the 4th inning.

SF Bay
The red flag warnings have been dropped for our area. With that said we now have lots of dry brush so it is officially fire season in the bay area.
Warmer
A warmer weather pattern will take hold this week with highs into the 90s by the end of the week. With that said fire danger is will be on the increase this week.
Pollen
This weekend will be a warm one with temperatures reaching into the 80s and low 90s. With this nice warm weather comes in increase in pollen levels. Right now the tree pollens are the most prominent. Cedar and Pine are two of the largest contributors with Oak pollens not far ...
Good Beach Weather
The weekend will be sunny and warm and that means pollen levels around the bay area will be on the rise. Right now its the tree pollens that are driving everyone crazy with pine and cedar trees leading the charge.
