Brian Flores

Brian Flores joined KTVU Channel 2 News in October 2012 as an Anchor/Reporter for KTVU Channel 2 Morning News and Mornings on 2.

Brian worked most recently in broadcasting as a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor at KSWB, the Tribune-owned FOX station in San Diego, CA. Brian was at KSWB when they launched their newscasts in 2008 and he worked there for more than three years covering major breaking news for their 5pm, 6pm and 10pm Newscasts.

Prior to that he worked from 2006-2008 at KVEW, an ABC-affiliated station in the Tri-Cities Washington market as a Reporter/Weekend Anchor.

Brian is a 3rd generation newsman. His father was one of the first Filipino reporters for the Arizona Republic and San Diego Union newspapers. His father also started The Filipino Press newspaper in San Diego, CA. Brian's grandfather was also a journalist in the Philippines.

He is originally from San Diego and has relatives here in the Bay Area.

Brian has a B.A. in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. He now resides in the Bay Area with his wife and two kids.
